 Self-care

Self-care is an extremely important part of coping with life's stressors.  Find some healthy activities that help you to feel better, and remind yourself to use them during times when you need them most as well as during times when things are going well and you are feeling good.

Mindful Attention to the Self

“From the perspective of Buddhism, staying calm comes from healing our own anger.”
   --Mindy Newman

Feeling calm and content is the fruit of hard work, and it is a work in progress.  Therapy can support your process of healing and growth.  It is not always easy but there is much to learn and appreciate along this journey.
