Welcome!

Hi, thank you for visiting my site.  My name is Dr. Cathy LaLonde, and I am a Licensed Psychologist who recently relocated from the Oregon coast back to my home state Michigan.  I have been in practice for 16 years.  My approach to psychotherapy is integrative, bringing together psychoanalytic and psychodynamic principles with other evidence-based therapies such as CBT, motivational interviewing, ACT, positive psychology, trauma-focused, exposure, and/or mindfulness-based techniques.  I believe in looking at each person holistically, taking into account past experiences, current struggles, symptoms, health-related issues/behaviors, and strengths and factors that promote resilience, through a diversity-affirming and culturally responsive lens.  When you are ready for talk therapy, are open to personal growth and to begin making positive changes in your life, please call to schedule a consultation.
